This is one of those cheerful yellow flowers that is especially great for covering a large area. It will self seed and pop up everywhere. I consider it the frontline in the war against black mustard. I love pairing it with Purple Sage.
In my experience, I've seen it blooming every month out of the year. You can see it for yourself at the MiniNature Reserve on Palm Street and A Street in Oxnard, CA.
